The most delicious celebration in France

Since 2011, France has celebrated its gastronomy with passion and style with an annual fête, and this year is no exception.
The first weekend of autumn will be marked this year by the 3rd annual Fête de la Gastronomie, a country-wide festive celebration of French cuisine and its listing on UNESCO's world heritage list.
Over 6000 events were organized in the inaugural Fête de la Gastronomie, and even more have been planned for this year's edition. On the 20th, 21st and 22nd of September, gastronomes all over France take to the streets loaded with their dishes, recipes and menus or simply just their personal cutlery to come together to truly enjoy the wonders of French gastronomy.
As a centerpiece behind this wonderful festival, chefs and restaurants will be creating menus for the public to taste. You can even exchange ideas on recipes and discover new ways to approach cooking through discussions with the chefs. On top of all that, you will also find opportunities to taste wines and learn more about the art of pairing them with your dishes, a difficult skill that the chefs and restaurateurs will be more than excited to share to ensure you get the most out of every bite...or sip!
Mark it on your calendar and remember to head out with family and friends on the 20th, 21st and 22nd of September, to join in and celebrate the rich diversity of French gastronomy.
    Bon appétit !
