Tickets start at $20 at TORONTO2015.org/tickets

It’s time to start planning where you want to be in the summer of 2015! Starting less than a month from today, nab your front-row seat to history when the best athletes from Canada and 40 other countries and territories come to compete at the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am Games.
The Pan Am schedule for sport competitions and the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, as well as the ticket pricing guide, are now available at TORONTO2015.org/tickets.
Beginning at 10 a.m. (ET) on Monday, September 15, almost 1.4 million tickets — starting at $20 — will be available to the public for the biggest international multi-sport Games ever held in Canada.
This will give sports and culture fans early access to request the absolute best tickets for the hottest events. But it is for a limited time; the ticket request phase will only last for three weeks and will end on October 6.
“From our amazing one-night-only Opening Ceremony to gold-medal swimming to the final soccer match, the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am Games will be a once-in-a-lifetime event you don’t want to miss,” said SaƤd Rafi, chief executive officer of the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games Organizing Committee (TO2015).
“Best of all, our tickets are priced to be affordable for families — more than 75 per cent will be $45 or less,” he added. “Our ceremonies and gold-medal event tickets will be in great demand, so we encourage everyone to plan their Games experience now.”
Ticketmaster, a division of Live Nation Entertainment, will handle all ticket sales and services on behalf of the Games so customers can buy with confidence.
Approximately 6,000 top athletes from 41 countries in the Americas and Caribbean will compete at the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am Games in 36 sports, including the Pan Am debut of golf, women’s baseball, women’s rugby sevens and canoe/kayak – slalom.
With more than 400 ticketed events available, now is the ideal time to plan your Games experience with friends and family.

How the TO2015 Ticketing Program Works
1.) Request your tickets: Starting Monday, September 15 at 10 a.m. (ET) and running until Monday, October 6 at 9 p.m. (ET), the public can use this early access period to request the hottest Games tickets at TORONTO2015.org/tickets.
Along with the official online ticket sales channel, customers may also request tickets by telephone toll-free within Canada and the U.S. at 1.855.726.2015 and internationally at 1.949.333.4824.
To ensure fairness, in situations where more tickets are requested than available for an event, customer ticket requests will be placed in a lottery. This lottery system, which is often used at mega-events like the recent Olympic Games in Vancouver and London, ensures everyone will have equal access to the most in-demand tickets.
2.) Ticket order processing: Customers will receive an email in late November 2014 telling them to check their account and see whether their ticket requests were successful.
All tickets not snapped up during the ticket request phase from September 15 to October 6 will be available through general sale, where tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis, beginning in December 2014. Further details on this process will be released after the ticket request phase ends.
