St. Pete/Clearwater Accommodations Assist Stranded Travelers By Winter Storm "Juno"

Local Properties Offer Emergency Rates Starting at $55
St. Pete/Clearwater area accommodations stepped in to assist thousands who had their travel plans changed by Winter Storm "Juno" on Monday.

In just four hours, more than 30 properties submitted discounted rates for visitors affected by the massive storm hitting the Northeast U.S. The need to help stranded travelers was evident after more than 100 flights were canceled at local airports due to the closure of major U.S. airports across the entire Eastern Seaboard.

With even more delays expected Tuesday and Wednesday, many of the hotel rates are good through Thursday, some extending through the rest of the week.

Accommodations are available across a wide range of properties, from the luxury of the Loews Don CeSar on St. Pete Beach to dozens of condo properties to beachfront resorts like Sandpearl Resort on Clearwater Beach and Guy Harvey Outpost on St. Pete Beach.

Rates range from $55 at the Magnuson Hotel Clearwater Central to $89 at the Sirata Beach Resort on St. Pete Beach, all the way up to $235 for a suite at the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach.
