Travelore News: Major fire Tuesday morning at Penn Station New York

Major fire Tuesday morning at Penn Station New York

A major fire in Manhattan is always a big event for New Yorkers and tourists. If this happens at a subway or major train station it does make headlines. Within minutes hundreds of news outlets in New York are reporting about a major fire at the busy New York City Penn Station on Tuesday early morning. The fire was responded by more than 100 fire fighters. A blaze delayed trains coming in and out of Penn Station early Tuesday morning, according to the FDNY.
A and E trains were bypassing 34th Street, setting up delays for morning commuters.
No injuries were reported in the three-alarm fire that happened just before 2:30 a.m. at the station, located at West 33rd Street and 8th Avenue in Manhattan, the FDNY said.
It was not immediately clear how the fire started or if there were any injuries.
