Good news for those looking to plan a conference in New York City: NYC & Company, the City’s official marketing, tourism and partnership organization, has launched a 2015 New York City Delegate Discount Pass, offering exclusive savings throughout the year at more than 70 restaurants, tours, attractions and retailers.
The Delegate Discount Pass, which is available to all attendees, exhibitors, meeting planners and event staff, lets delegates experience the City during their stay at an affordable price.
The New York City Delegate Discount Pass allows visitors to redeem a variety of discounts at more than 70 NYC & Company member organizations, including restaurants ranging from bars to fine-dining establishments, walking and bus tours, beloved department stores, sporting experiences and more.
In 2014, New York City welcomed an estimated 6.1 million meeting and convention delegates, up from 5.9 million delegates who spent approximately $5 billion in the five boroughs in 2013. An important contributor to New York City’s tourism industry, MICE visitation from around the globe continues to increase each year.
The current iteration of the New York City Delegate Discount Pass is valid through June 30 (details for the remainder of the year will be available at a later date). To redeem offers, visitors must show a printed or mobile version of the Delegate Discount Pass, provided by NYC & Company’s Destination Services Team to convention, trade show and corporate meeting planners.
