Philadelphia’s hotel scene has new player:The Logan, Philadelphia’s Hotel is now open.
The Benjamin Franklin Parkway’s longtime anchor hotel, formerly the Four Seasons Philadelphia, has been transformed into a contemporary property that’s part of Curio – A Collection by Hilton and operated by Sage Hospitality, a Denver-based hotel development and management company.
A relatively new brand for Hilton, The Logan is the 11th Curio-branded property in the United States, each with an individual character.
Named for Colonial statesman James Logan andits location on Logan Square, The Logan hotel nods to Philadelphia’s rich history, but its atmosphere exudes modern luxury with fresh color palettes, updated rooms and meeting space, a renovated spa and fitness center and a brand-new restaurant — Urban Farmer Steakhouse.
The Urban Farmer Steakhouse, which also has locations in Portland and Cleveland, will open alongside the hotel and serve breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Like its other two outposts, the restaurant will emphasize nose-to-tail dining and tap local sources — in this case, the Philadelphia region — for menu inspiration and ingredients.
Plus, come spring 2016, The Logan will rollout Assembly Rooftop Bar, a sky-high lounge with amazing views of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway and the city’s skyline.
We suggest making plans to get acquainted with the new name in Philadelphia hotels: The Logan.
