According to information received by the German national news paper Bild, German chancellor Angela Merkel collapsed at a coffee break Saturday night in the German city of Bayreuth.
Merkel and her husband Joachim Sauer attended a cultural performance "Tristan and Isolde" part of the famous Wagner Festival in Bayreuth, Germany. It's an important cultural event in Germany attracting tourists from Germany and around the world.
The German leader and for many the most powerful women on the world fell from her chair. It took two minutes for her to gain consciousness.
With her on the table many tried to cater to Merkel, including her husband, the Federal president of the house Norber Lammert and the minister of culture Monika Grütters .
This was the second such incident for this busy lady. stress and dehydration may have caused this scary situation.
After the chancellor gained control, she continued the event and said: "I enjoyed the event."
