And not just any sharks—French ones.
Thanks to Airbnb, we’ve already been able to rent a castle, stay in Van Gogh’s bedroom, and spend a terrifying night in the catacombs of Paris. Now, the home-sharing site has added another item to the bucket list we never knew we had: sleeping with sharks.
For three nights in April, a lucky few will be able to take part in the first-ever sleepover at the Shark Aquarium at the Aquarium de Paris. Guests will sleep in an underwater bedroom with transparent walls offering 360-views of the aquarium’s 35 most toothy residents. As part of the experience, guests will be hosted by champion freediver (and shark lover) Fred Buyle, who will co-lead a guided tour of the aquarium with one the marine biologists on staff. Oh, and dinner will be served tank-side, so you can contemplate what your shark friends wish they were munching on while you eat.
So how do you get the chance to snuggle up to Jaws? Enter the contest on Airbnb before April 3rd and you might be one of three winners who (along with a guest) will receive a free flight, bragging rights, and the selfies of a lifetime.
