The new-to-Android app is designed to help users locate casinos nearby, provide information on each casino's
accommodations and games, plus give details on money-saving specials
After completing a successful launch for iOS devices, the
publishers of America's #1 best-selling casino travel guide have announced the launch of a new FREE American
Casino Guide app on Google Play for Android devices.
The app allows users to easily search for any U.S. casino by name, city, state or zip code. The app then gives
detailed information on each casino, including: address, phone numbers (with one touch calling), room rates,
buffet prices, games offered, availability of money-saving coupon offers, turn-by-turn directions, plus a direct link
to each casino's web site.
"We have had thousands of downloads of our previous iOS version in the App Store and users have been very
satisfied with its capabilities," said American Casino Guide author Steve Bourie.
A special "Casinos Nearby" feature of the app uses GPS technology to show users a list, or map view, of all
casinos within a 100-mile radius of their current location. Coupled with turn-by-turn directions, this is an
especially useful tool for motorists traveling the highways and wanting to make a leisurely stop at a nearby
casino.
A very popular feature of the app is its "Special Offers" section which lists all of the casinos that have money-
saving coupon offers in the 2014 American Casino Guide book, as well as any other casinos that are offering
special savings. Users can search for offers by casino name, or they can use the map view that will

There are more than 200 casino offers listed in the app, including FREE buffets, FREE rooms, FREE shows,
FREE slot play, FREE matchplay money, FREE drinks, plus many other discounts.
To help users before they sit down to play in the casinos, another part of the app provides them with a library
of "how-to-gamble videos." The 60 videos, which have been viewed more than 4.7 million times, are hosted on
the American Casino Guide's YouTube channel and a new video is added each month.
Casino expert, Steve Bourie, serves as the host of the videos and gives instructions to viewers on how to play
the most popular casinos games, as well as tips on the best strategies for winning.
"We have loaded this app with many useful features for casino-goers and I often use it myself when traveling the
country," added Bourie. "I especially like the turn-by-turn directions feature because many Native American
casinos are located off the main highways and they can sometimes be very difficult to find."
