After U.S. off duty military officers prevented a terror attack on a high speed train from Amsterdam to Paris, Belgium authorities now ordered spot checks of luggage, belonging to the passengers of the international trains. This will start tomorrow . Nathalie Pierard spokeswoman of the National Railway Company of Belgium (SNCB) explained this to the media on Saturday.
Pierard said that the luggage will be examined on the railway stations across the country, not only in the capital. Federal Police would conduct these checks in cooperation with the railway company security service.
