Cruises are more popular than ever with nearly 30 million people expected to board a cruise ship this year. As cruising continues to grow at a feverish pace, there are currently four new cruise lines set to debut in the next few years that you should know about.
From much anticipated Virgin Voyages to Ritz-Carlton building new yachts for their cruise line, here are the four new cruise lines you’ll soon be able to take a cruise on.
Virgin Voyages Luxury travel
Virgin Voyages, the most anticipated new cruise line in years, will launch their first cruise ship in 2020. Scarlet Lady will offer cruises unlike any other cruise ship offered by other cruise lines.
There won’t be any kids on board as only those who are 18 years and older will be able to sail on Virgin Voyages. The cruise line is throwing nickel and diming overboard and will include WiFi, tips, and all dining venues in cruise fares. While there won’t be a traditional main dining room or buffet, there will be at least 20 dining options to choose from. Formal nights, you won’t find those either onboard.
There will be a tattoo parlor on the ship and the beds in cabins will convert to loungers during the day.
Scarlet Lady will sail 4 and 5 night cruises to the Western Caribbean and Cuba from the Cruise Capital of the World, PortMiami. Cruises are currently open for pre-sale and will open to the general public on February 14, 2019. Visit VirginVoyages.com for more information.
Ritz -Carlton Yacht Collection
The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection is poised to become the most coveted experience at sea when the new cruise line debuts in 2020. Created to feel like a private yacht, the vessels will uniquely feature one designer, resulting in a unified flow of design which is refined, relaxed and unlike any other accommodations at sea.
In addition to unparalleled accommodations, guests of The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection will enjoy an all-inclusive luxury experience including onboard activities and entertainment, beverages, multiple dining venues, onboard gratuities, WiFi and watersports from the yacht’s marina.
Each yacht will feature 149 suites, each with its own private terrace, and accommodate up to 298 guests in a relaxed, casually elegant atmosphere. As with the Ritz-Carlton on land, each yacht will feature personalized service, elevated dining and luxury amenities. To provide the highest quality service, there will be nearly as many staff members as guests.
