Air France's New Cabins To Arrive In Boston








Boston will be the fourth U.S. destination to receive the new cabins, offering them on
Air France long-haul flights on Sundays

 Starting October 25, 2015, Air France customers traveling from Boston Logan International Airport can enjoy the airline’s new long-haul cabins with a one-time weekly route on Sundays, with frequency increasing soon. The updated plane features newly redesigned seats in Business, Premium Economy, and Economy classes. These new seats have already made their debut with a number of different long-haul destinations across the world, including three in the United States: New York, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C.

AF 333: leaves Boston at 8:10 p.m.*, arriving the following day at Paris-Charles de Gaulle at 8:40 a.m.

AF 338: leaves Paris Charles de Gaulle at 4:10 p.m., arriving in Boston at 6:10 p.m.**

*Due to the Daylight Saving Time difference between Paris and Boston, between October 25 and November 1, the flight will depart Boston at 9:10 p.m.

**Due to the Daylight Saving Time difference between Paris and Boston, between October 25 and November 1, the flight back from CDG will land in Boston at 7:10 p.m.


Currently, 20 destinations are being served with Air France’s new long-haul cabins, including:
• North America: Los Angeles; New York; Washington, D.C.; Boston; Toronto; Vancouver.
• South America: Sao Paulo.
• Africa: Bangui; Douala; Libreville; Malabo; Yaoundé.
• Middle East: Beirut; Dubai.
• Asia: Guangzhou; Jakarta; Beijing; Shanghai; Singapore; Tokyo-Haneda.
In June 2014, Air France unveiled the first Boeing 777 equipped with the new long-haul cabin classes as part of a $500 million investment in new products and services. One year later, the airline is seeing the rewards of its efforts with a significant increase in its customer satisfaction ratings. This enthusiasm has contributed to a 28-point increase in the Net Promoter Score (NPS), a popular rating index which has received a high response from customers asked whether they would recommend Air France to their families, friends and colleagues.

Air France Business: A Cocoon In The Sky
In the new Air France Business class, the seat adapts to the shape of each individual, from seating position to a real 2-meter-long bed. The seat's soft foam is designed to offer impeccable comfort. With a soft duvet and XXL-sized feather down pillow, everything has been designed to ensure peaceful sleep above the clouds.
Each passenger has a 16-inch (41 cm) HD touch screen with access to a wide range of programming. A touch screen handset can be used to navigate through programs or to make phone calls, and a set of noise-reducing headphones allows for comforting privacy. Further enriching the flight experience, Air France provides all Business passengers with an elegant Business comfort kit, which includes a Clarins moisturizer, lip balm, and numerous beauty products.
Michelin-starred French chefs worked with Air France to create aperitifs, appetizers, hot entrees, cheeses, pastries, sorbets and fruits to delight the taste buds of Business passengers, along with the complimentary wine list curated by Paolo Basso.

Air France Economy and Premium Economy: Comfort, Attention To Detail, And Pleasure
In Economy, there is a new fully-revised seat, with more legroom, a new seat cushion, more comfortable headrests, and a wider tray table. The seat has been ergonomically-redesigned to guarantee optimum comfort, and it features new functionalities, including an electric socket and headphones holder.
In Premium Economy, more comfortable seat cushions and a multi-position footrest further enhance this cabin class, first launched in 2009. The unique, entirely separate cabin is a dedicated class of service offering 40% more personal space for a great value.
As for entertainment, choosing a program has never been as quick and easy, with wide touch screens with HD images.
The meal service has also been upgraded, with a second hot dish and new gourmet offer, to make the trip even more pleasant and enjoyable. Families and particularly children are at the heart of Air France’s attention. Organic produce adapted to the tastes of infants and young children, new tableware, and a selection of new games ensure children will enjoy the flight in a fun way.
Air France will have installed close to 10,000 Economy seats and 1,100 Premium Economy seats on 44 Boeing 777 aircraft by July 2016.

Air France's New Cabins Land In Los Angeles And Washington, DC


New Business, Premium Economy and Economy class cabins are now available
from 16 Air France destinations


Air France customers traveling from Los Angeles International Airport and Washington, DC Dulles International Airport (IAD) can now enjoy the airline’s new Business cabin, a cocoon in the sky, plus fully-updated seats in Premium Economy and Economy class. The gradual entry into service of the new “BEST” product-equipped Boeing 777s allows Air France to serve these additional North-American destinations with the new cabins up to seven times-weekly, effective immediately throughout the 2015 summer and fall season. Ultimately, 44 Boeing 777s, the heart of the Air France long-haul fleet, will be equipped with the new products with updates to all cabins.

AF072: leaves Paris-Charles de Gaulle at 13:40, arriving in Los Angeles at 16:20.

AF027: leaves Washington, DC at 21:30, arriving the following day at Paris-Charles de Gaulle at 11:00.

Air France, voted "world's most improved airline" in 2015

In June 2015, Air France received two awards from Skytrax – “world's most improved airline” and, for the second consecutive year, “best first class airline lounge dining.” These awards were presented to the company at the World Airline Awards, the occasion for Skytrax to announce its highly-professional airline rating among one of the most respected in the air transport industry. Both awards received by Air France are based on feedback from nearly 19 million customers in an online survey.

Air France-KLM serves 19 destinations in North America on departure from Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Amsterdam-Schiphol airports. Recently, the Group also resumed operation of two seasonal services to Minneapolis and Dallas. Air France-KLM is also increasing capacity to Vancouver, Canada with flights operated by Air France on departure from Paris-Charles de Gaulle since March 29, 2015. Moreover, since May 19, 2015, KLM has resumed flights to Edmonton, Canada on departure from Amsterdam-Schiphol. Furthermore, as part of the transatlantic joint-venture, Air France-KLM and its partners Delta Air Lines and Alitalia jointly operate over 250 trans-Atlantic flights operated daily by the four airlines. The joint-venture represents close to 25% of total capacity between Europe and North America.
