With this, RIU Hotels & Resorts will add a new destination to its portfolio with the opening of three hotels making up the new RIU Resort located on the glorious Le Morne peninsula on the island of Mauritius. The complex includes the Riu Le Morne (Adults Only by RIU), Riu Creole and Riu Coral. The hotels are currently closed for refurbishment to adapt facilities to the RIU standard of service, involving a total investment of around 70 million Euros. The three hotels, which are on the beach front, all have four stars and offer the recognized RIU All Inclusive 24-hour service.
The Riu Creole and Riu Coral hotels, which have 145 and 166 rooms respectively, will be ideal for holidays with family or friends. Their guests will be able to choose from three restaurants and four bars, as well as enjoy RiuLand's activities for children, nightly shows and live music, and the full spa. The Riu Le Morne, which has 219 rooms, will be for adults only. As well as having all the complex's facilities to hand, guests staying at this hotel will have exclusive access to three more restaurants and two extra bars. RIU's new Mauritius resort also offers direct access to a stunning white sand beach, large swimming pools and beautiful gardens.
Fans of water sports will be in their element here in Mauritius. The island, located in the southwestern Indian Ocean, is considered to be one of the world's finest kitesurfing sites, and the RIU Resort's beach also offers windsurfing, kayaking, snorkeling, paddle boarding and other activities.
