Travelore News: Breeze Airways Expands Network With Four New Destinations And 22 Routes

The rapid growth of Breeze Airways continues as the low-cost carrier has just announced a massive network expansion. Launching primarily in the spring and summer of 2027, Breeze is officially adding four new destinations and 22 new nonstop routes to its flight map. With these additions, the airline's high-value network will now serve an impressive 95 cities across the globe.

The Four New Destinations

Starting in early 2027, Breeze will begin service to four entirely new markets:

  • Boston, Massachusetts (BOS)
  • Buffalo, New York (BUF)
  • Latrobe, Pennsylvania (LBE)
  • Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic (SDQ)

Flights to Latrobe will be the first to kick off on February 9, 2027, filling a gap left by the recent departure of Spirit Airlines at the Pennsylvania airport. The remaining new destinations will see their inaugural Breeze flights take to the skies between May and July of 2027.

A Massive Boost for Myrtle Beach

The biggest winner in this route expansion is undoubtedly Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The popular coastal destination is receiving a staggering 11 new connections, representing a 70% increase in Breeze's capacity at the airport compared to 2026. New nonstop flights will link Myrtle Beach to cities across the Northeast and Midwest, including Boston, Albany, Burlington, Columbus, and New Haven, cementing Breeze as the largest carrier in the beach town by both destinations and total seats.

International Growth from Tampa

The addition of Santo Domingo marks another significant step in Breeze's international ambitions. Starting June 18, 2027, the airline will launch twice-weekly service (Mondays and Fridays) between Tampa International Airport (TPA) and the Dominican Republic's capital. Unlike some competitors that only fly this route seasonally, Breeze plans to operate the Santo Domingo link year-round. This move further solidifies Tampa as a major international launchpad for Breeze, joining its expanding roster of Caribbean and Central American routes.

Travelers looking to take advantage of these new routes can find introductory promotional fares ranging from $49 to $149 one-way, available directly through the Breeze Airways website. As always, these flights will be operated by the airline's growing fleet of modern Airbus A220-300 aircraft, featuring fast Wi-Fi and "Ascent" first-class seating options.
